Love it!
This is one of my favorites! I love IdeaRaw and their products. For some reason everything has been out of stock. I really want to stock up on some protein. I love the chocolate and vanilla as well!
Delicious
This is the best protein I have ever tasted. My brother tried it one time and was blown away. I cannot believe it has been sold out! I should have purchased it in bulk!
I will pass
I am a huge banana lover unfortunately this mixture is not it for me. The consistency is gritty and the flavor must be an acquired taste in my opinion.
Disappointing
I really wanted this to be good! I wanted to believe that some of the reviews were subjective, and that I may have a different opinion. The taste is horrendous. I’ve tried mixing it with different methods and different liquids (water,almond milk etc) and it just doesn’t work for me. It has a VERY strong, yucky stevia flavor which lasts for hours and doesn’t fade. It’s just not good in my opinion. Whether blended or shaken, it never dissolves either.
Doesn’t Mix Well
I wanted to like this so bad! I have always loved ideal lean products and was excited about this option. I knew to expect a little earthy-ness, and I can even handle flavors that aren’t stellar. However this one doesn’t blend well. I’ve tried different temps in wager and lactose free milk. It is so chalky/grainy I can hardly drink it down. I’ve diluted up to twice the recommended amount, no help. I’m hoping when blended into smoothies it will be better because I hate to waste money and product.
Chalky blegh
I know vegan proteins are generally grittier than whey proteins, but had high hopes for this one based off reviews. The flavor is good, but it is definitely grittier--even with a creamy base. Just keep that in mind when using.
Flavor is good, but chalky!
I purchased this thinking it would be just as delicious as the strawberry almond flavor, but the banana almond does not dissolve like the others. Might be because it is Ideal Raw instead of Ideallean.
Really like this but...
I really like this protein. I like it enough to give it 5 start despite my complaints. It will probably be my go-to for quite a while. It tastes so good! You can really taste the banana. I especially like it with a 50/50 mix of water and almond cashew milk. However, I find it has a slight chalky taste if not mixed all the way. Maybe its really just the nuttiness from the almond? I don't mind it but some might be turned off by it. It also doesn't dissolve as easily as the other Ideal proteins I've tried over the years. Seems to work bet if I mix it, let it sit a few minutes, then mix again. I also don't know if they stopped including scoopers but mine did not have a scooper. Luckily I kept the one from the previous protein. I'm excited to try this in shakes with some fruit.
Love this flavor
I have tried many flavors from ideal and this is my favorite! I use a shake bottle and and pb2 and it’s amazing!! I will be sticking to this flavor from now on.
