Good for a Protein Bar
4I really like cookies and cream flavored foods, so I was excited to try these. My first thought when I unwrapped one was, "Wait, there's no chocolate around it?" I don't know why I assumed that it would be coated in chocolate, but I was kind of sad when I saw that it wasn't. That being said, it tastes okay. It definitely has that cookies and cream flavor to it. However, like most protein bars, it's very chalky and difficult to chew. Also like most protein bars, they did a good job of keeping me full. Overall, I didn't like them that much in general, but these are pretty good compared to other protein bars.

1Bought a box of these because you can't just buy one to try... nasty. Texture seems fine at first but turns grainy. Taste is overwhelmed by fake sugar and fiber additive. Couldn't even finish one bar. Tossed the whole box in the trash. Never again!

1I love Mint Chocolate as a flavor for my treats and have really liked other brands of protein bars available in this flavor. IdealLean Mint Chocolate protein bars are really bad. They are not very chocolatey and are very minty. Have you ever added too much mint extract to a smoothie and it was bitter and hard to finish? Unfortunately that is what happened with these bars. Texture is soft and not gritty so that's consistent with other flavor.

5I have tried so many protein bars on the market and these are by far my favorite!! The cookies and cream flavor especially. They are perfectly chewy and not chalky tasting at all. Highly recommend these bars!

5These are quite yummy. I like that they are not the hard taffy-like consistency like many other brands are. This makes them seem fresher. The texture and flavor are good.

4I LOVE cookies n cream, and this is one of my favorite products with that flavor. I really like the texture, and the bar is pretty satisfying for coming in just under 200 cal. I like to pair it with a little fruit for a quick breakfast, or as a satisfying snack between breakfast/lunch at work on my really active, early start days. The macros align well for me personally when eaten to supplement my meals, but I would never eat it after a workout...there are better bars and protein mixes out there for that (IdealLean protein powder is my go-to). The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are WAAAAY overpriced. I bought these during an awesome sale, but was so disappointed to find only 7 bars in the box. No protein bar is worth over $4 each, especially before taxes and shipping costs are accounted for. I can find comparable bars easily for $2 each (or less!). I would buy again, but only if they were at a competitive price.

5I love the Cookies and Cream protein bars!! They are not like any bar I have tried before. They remind me on the inside of a candy bar, sweet and chewy. I really like the texture - if you like chewy bars, you'll like these. And, there are actual cookies in them!!

5These bars a perfect treat and exactly what I needed to help fuel my body for the day. They really did their job in filling me up and are delicious! When I had my first one I did think the taste was odd at first but when I finished it and had more throughout the week I thought it was great. I think it was just a bit different than I first expected. I've only tried the cookies and cream so far but I can't wait to try the mint chocolate especially. I love that each bar has 20g of protein! I've found that in general that's hard to find, especially one that tastes as good as these! I definitely recommend them :)

2I ordered the mint protein bars this month and found that I am not a big fan of the mint ones. The texture was a little funky at first but I got used to it. These are very minty FYI for those who are not mint lovers. I now want to try the cookies and cream!
