I wanted to love this so bad....but really couldn't :( I love Karina and her workouts online, but I found that the program was really general. As an example, it promotes usage of whey protein - as someone who is lactose/casein intolerant, I didn't find that useful. I kept on getting incorrect emails too in terms of timing. I think the program would be good for someone who is just starting out though and needs something very structured, but has no limitations in terms of food intolerances or injuries.
I just started Karina’s 6 week challenge about 2 and a half weeks ago and I LOVE it. I bought this to help tone up before my honeymoon next month. I was very hesitant to buy it at first, I have always found my body does best with weights and HIIT workouts, and I was scared this wouldn’t be challenging enough but it really is! I feel that most workout books like these are all basic at home exercises, but this is not one of those. I love how it incorporates both weight training and HIIT. I find myself pushing and challenging myself each day. I’ve already noticed a difference in my body and increased endurance already. I can’t wait to see what I look like on my honeymoon!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CHALLENGE! I am being one hundred percent honest, normally I don’t buy into fitness products or fitness programs as Most are not that good... I am a Division I Athlete and I have never felt more comfortable in my own body than I do now after doing this challenge! This challenge has helped me overcome the scary thought of going to the gym alone in fear of being judged and I have experienced significant results! I really would and do recommend this challenge and all IdealFit products as they are college athletics friendly as well as actually something that produces results! Everyone is so friendly and all of the trainers are extremely helpful ... the only regret that I have is that I didn’t find ideal fit sooner!!!
First off I bought this program because I did the free 15 day challenge from Karina and fell in love with her personality. This challenge requires hard work. I admit that I did not stick to the program 100%, but I did gain muscle and lose weight fast. She clearly states that she does not do crunches, sit ups, etc to achieve her rockin abs. It comes from the diet and engaging your core during all of the workouts. One thing I would change about this program: I wish the videos were more similar to the 15 day challenge. They were more informative and easier to follow along.
Have been a Group Fitness Instructor for 30 years but was never too interested in the nutrition aspect of an athletic lifestyle. Finally decided to challenge myself. With this program I gained some muscle, confidence and broke the fear of food. I didn’t realize I was eating so little. I learned to eat wholesome foods to fuel my body and spark my metabolism. I ate so much food on this program yet lost a few inches of body fat. One thing that I would like to see is more explanation of proper form and technique. I have both, but I’m sure that not everyone has this knowledge. I come to this conclusion through the wonderful support program received once you purchase the package and my own observations at the local gym. All in all. Totally recommend it whether you’re ready to begin a transformation journey or want to go to the next level in your new journey. Even if no physical progress is made (an impossibility in my opinion) Karina will help you feel beautiful and teach you to love yourself as you are. Go for it!
This program is definitely hard and will make you more sore than you have probably ever been. The question I continue to ask myself and what drives me is, is it worth it in the end? Does the pain warrant the end result? The answer is yes! I have eaten cleaner and pushed myself harder than I have in my whole life. Growing up as a non-athlete, I have struggled with pushing myself through workouts when they get tough. This program has offered me the confidence that I need to continue going and persevere through the doubts in my mind. I would highly recommend this program to anyone, all while knowing that this pushes you, challenges you, and stretches you to places you did not think you could go before. Definitely check it out!
I did Trainer Lindsey's 6 week FBC and I really enjoyed the workouts, but I didn't care much for the food. This challenge is the opposite, in a way. Karina's recipes are fantastic. However, I admit I tweak the recipes so I can make them a bit more how I like and still stay very near the macro and calorie range. I am never hungry on this meal plan. Karina provides recipes to meet the seasons, soups in the winter and salads in the summer. The workouts are HARD! Much more difficult than I expected. The first time through I had to quit half way because my body hurt so much. I was used to Trainer Lindsey's circuit workouts and being done in less than 30 minutes. These workouts take 45-60 minutes to complete. I would recommend this challenge as a more intermediate/advanced workout routine. There are modifications for the "Shred" portion of the workouts and beginners would definitely need to consider using them. However, that's not to say completing a workout isn't worth it, because it is hard and therefore the reward is respectively as sweet. I strongly recommend using BCAA's on this challenge to help with muscle recovery.
This whole program is spot on! It has given me all the tools to eat properly and the food is AMAZING!! I love that I can follow a routine each and everyday to get a fit body. I am 40 years old now and it's not as easy for me to get into shape now a day, but with these simple recipes, guided workouts and delicious proteins and supplements, I am on my way to feeling and looking my best. Oh and Katrina holds me accountable with her encouraging emails too... love it
Karina is my idol, and I'm seriously so pumped about this challenge. She is just awesome and everything she teaches is spot on! After I completed Karina's 15 day challenge, I moved over to the 6 week challenge. It is exactly what I was looking for and gave me that extra push to the next level of my fitness goals. The videos are perfect for making sure my form is correct while I'm at the gym. I like that the workouts switch up every two weeks to keep me from getting bored and my body guessing. The meal plan is simple to follow and delicious. Even my three kids enjoy many of the recipes. The format is easy to follow and very clear. This is a great addition to your Idealfit supplements and protein and will get you in shape FAST!
