It was awesome to meet Lindsey, especially since she has been training me for the last 8 months! She was sincere, energetic and knowledgeable. Best way to spend a Saturday morning for sure!!!!
I received great information from about meal planning and macros. The workouts were hard, but taught me alternate ways to workout outside of the gym. There were a lot of giveaways, which was awesome. I thought it was special that Lindsey learned our names and called us by them even though there were a lot of people in the session...nice personal touch.
So a friend of mine that had been following this group asked me to go with her to an evening out of town (she left out the details) and I couldn't be happier that I did, although I was dreading it once I knew what we were getting into! I hadn't really worked out in quite a while and knew that I wasn't quite prepared. Sigh. HOWEVER, once we arrived, I was pleased to find everyone so welcoming, not only to her but myself as well. Trainer Lindsey was the sweetest, most down-to-earth kind of gal, hard not to love right away. Several things to mention, but I will try to limit my enthusiasm.... There were ALL sorts of people in the group, young/old, fit/barely getting started, etc. (you get the point). Lindsey worked our tails off!! I had to excuse myself a couple times to sit along the wall to catch my breath, BUT no one judged and people had lots of encouraging words!! Lindsey is engaging, and has a great sense of humor, keeping the whole ride upbeat and positive. She pushed us to our limits but also calmed my nerves by saying it's okay if you need to modify, that we will get there! We went to the meet and greet the night before the workout, which turned out to be fantastic as there were familiar faces for the next nerve-wracking-day workout. Since returning, I have a newly-found enjoyment for fitness and have been working out daily. I'm so glad I told my bestie I would accompany her! Very much recommended for those considering it! Amy
