Vanilla Cranberry Bars

Some healthy vanilla cranberry bars

Serves 8. Serving Size: 1 bar.


  • 0.75 c white whole wheat flour
  • 1 scoop French Vanilla IdealLean Protein
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 0.25 tsp. cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp. baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil, melted and cooled slightly
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 0.33 c coconut sugar
  • 0.5 c fresh whole cranberries, diced


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. Whisk together the flour, protein powder, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the coconut oil, egg, and coconut sugar.

  3. Add in the flour mixture, stirring until just incorporated. Fold in the diced cranberries.

  4. Press the dough into the prepared pan. Bake at 350°F for about 14 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the center feels firm to the touch. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before lifting the bars out by the foil, transferring to a wire rack, and cooling completely to room temperature.

  5. Mix together the frosting ingredients and drizzle on the bars. Cut into 8 bars and enjoy!
