Raise your hand if you love decorating on holidays! Nothing is better than keeping things festive at your 4th of July party. We’re here to help make your decor even cuter with these patriotic recipes, which include our NEW Protein Flavors that we launched, specifically for the 4th July celebrations, included Peanut Popcorn and Strawberry Almond.

Whether you’re attending a BBQ or just having fun with friends, these fun treats will provide you with a healthy, high-protein option that you can bring to any function. Plus let’s face it, food is just tastier when it looks good!

1. Patriotic Shake

Ingredients

Blue Layer:

White Layer:

Red Layer:

Instructions

  1. Blend together blue layer in a blender, pour into a tall glass, and place in the freezer while you make the other layers.
  2. Blend together white layer in a blender and pour over the blue layer. Return to freezer and make red layer.
  3. Blend together red layer in a blender, pour over the white layer and enjoy!!

2. Red, White, and Blue Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

Toppings

  • 2 strawberries, sliced
  • 1/8 cup blueberries
  • 1/8 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and thick! Pour into a bowl and top with your favorite patriotic toppings!

3. Toasted Coconut & Berry Oatmeal Squares

Ingredients

  • 2 c old fashioned oats
  • 1 scoop IdealLean Peanut Popcorn Protein
  • 1/4 c unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 3 tbsp. coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp. coconut extract
  • 1 c mixed berries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix oats, protein, coconut flakes, coconut sugar, and baking powder.
  2. Add almond milk, and coconut extract and mix until combined.
  3. Fold in berries and pour into greased loaf pan.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes. Cut into 8 squares and enjoy!
