15 Day Challenge

Get Ready, Get Set, Run! With Kristi Monks Free 15 Day Challenge

Hi, I’m Coach Kristi Monks! I’m a runner, triathlete, USAT Certified Triathlon Coach, RRCA Certified Running coach, and my favorite role, a mom, to a beautiful baby girl; and I’m here to tell you about my NEW program I’ve created for IdealFit, the 15 Day Ready, Set, Run Challenge.

I have found that cardio combined with cross training and healthy eating is SO effective to help you reach your fat loss and lean muscle goals. So that is exactly how I have designed this challenge! My Ready, Set, Run Challenge will help you maximize your fat loss, build lean muscle, and hit the ground running!

I will be helping you start from the ground up. Learn the fundamentals of running, learn how to eat to fuel your runs, learn how to run farther and longer, and incorporate cross-training to help you prevent injury, build up your strength, and shed a few pounds along the way.

It’s okay if you’re not a great runner right away, all you need is consistency and practice. Practice makes permanent, and I’ll help you stay consistent for great results.

With my challenge I will help you learn to love running and exercising again. It will give you a good starting point, provide tips along the way, and support to help you reach your goals.

Learn to Love the Run!

Maybe running the mile in middle school was torture for you. Maybe in the past running felt too hard, maybe you felt too winded, too bored, or maybe you gave up running months or years ago and don’t know how to get started again. Whatever your story, running may not necessarily be your exercise of choice.

The cool thing though is that the past doesn’t have to shape your now. Every day is a new day, a new opportunity to try something new, an opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone, and heck, even grow.

If you are a total beginner, if you’re in a rut and need some direction, or you want to be able to run on the treadmill for more than a few minutes, I’m here to help you to find the fun in your run.

What I have found with anything, is that you don’t want to push yourself too hard right off the bat, or you will end up wearing yourself out. You want to ease into it and build up your strength, stamina, and endurance.

With my challenge you will complete progressive runs, that will consistently get longer, and challenge you more.

And you won’t wear yourself out, because we will be splitting up your runs with cross-training to build up strength in your supporting muscles, prevent injury, and increase your overall fitness level.

With my challenge you will get different meal plans to choose from so you don’t have to get bored of eating the same thing day after day.

Plus, I will be providing you with daily tips and tricks to maximize your success in this program, and I will give you access to me and my private community with this challenge.

And yes, learning to love the run is totally doable at any age!

With the right support, having goals in mind (running a mile, then maybe MORE!), starting off slow, being consistent, listening to the right music to get you in the mood (have you tried listening to IdealFit’s Spotify?), tracking your progress, and challenging yourself are all ways to find joy in the journey and enjoy the process.

So lace up ladies (and gents) it’s time to hit the trails. Ready… set… RUN!

“I don’t even know where to start because I freaking loved this program so much!! I guess I should start by saying, I have two babies 15 months apart. Prior to having kids I taught group fitness classes 6 times/week like it was nothing. I loved exercise and didn’t feel like myself without it.

Fast forward two years and two kids, and when it came to exercise I was on the struggle bus in a major way. Literally two weeks before I found this program, I went to the gym to run on the treadmill. Not even five minutes in I quit because I couldn’t do it. My legs hurt, my knees hurt and I couldn’t breathe. I wanted to love running and exercise again, I just needed help.

This program was exactly what I needed! Not only did it give me a good starting place for exercise, but it also told me EXACTLY what to eat. The food was always delicious (I’m admittedly a picky eater) and the portions were huge! I was never starving because there are built in snacks throughout the day and you are supposed to be eating every 2-3 hours! That meant 0 chances of starvation and loads of delicious food and snacks. As if that wasn’t good enough, there are also sweet treats built in! …So do-able! Ultimately, this program gave me the kickstart I needed to start making serious changes. To get back in control of my eating and exercise habits and get to a place where I wanted to do things that made my body feel good (and losing 4lbs in one week was not a bad gig either!).”
