Here women support each other, they share their successes, their frustrations, their hopes and dreams, and encourage others to give it their all. One of these amazing women is Jen. She has inspired and supported women in this community and has an amazing transformation of her own.

Jen has been able to lose over 40 pounds by incorporating IdealFit products and programs and a lot of hard work. But more than just losing weight, she has learned to love her body, to feel good in her skin, and to create healthy habits. And that is why she is one of our Your Ideal Transformation nominees. Here’s her story.

Jen’s Story

“I got a lot of my activity from playing soccer, but after having kids, I played less and less. After having my second child I didn’t feel like myself. I wanted to bring the focus back to me too. I wanted my energy back and to be a good role model for my children.

So I started by counting my calories, which helped with losing weight, but my body wasn’t toning. After that I started taking the IdealLean Protein powder and began Lindsey’s 15 Day Fit Body Challenge.

My favorite part of the challenge was how much I realized how much food I wasn’t eating before the challenge and how more food actually helped me achieve my results! I was always afraid to add calories to my diet in fear I would gain weight. But now, eating clean and often…is the way to go! I also learned that a 60 minute workout isn’t always beneficial to my daily routine. 20 minutes along with healthy eating…works so much better with my lifestyle.

Before starting the 15 Day Challenge, I couldn’t figure out what to eat and why I couldn’t see results. When I saw that the 15 Day Challenge had a meal plan I was excited because it told me what to eat and when. I was able to lose weight quickly with her meal plans.

After that I then did 2 rounds of Lindsey’s 6 Week Fit Body Challenge for more variety in the meal plan and workouts. Then I was really fortunate to get to be a part of Lindsey’s tester group for her 6 Week Fit Body Sculpt program. I then followed with 3 more rounds of Sculpt.

I Used to Focus on the Scale, Which Looking Back, I Now Hate. Now I Care About how I Look AND Feel.

I use the IdealLean Protein, IdealLean Pre-Workout, and IdealLean BCAAs, because I love that they’re low in calories, they are delicious, and work into the meal plans. I also struggle with my water intake, so the BCAAs help me get a little extra in. Recently I got the IdealLean Stim-Free Pre-Workout and love interchanging that with my regular Pre-Workout. They help me feel energized.

I trust Lindsey because I know she knows what she’s talking about. I didn’t lose weight until the 4th week in the Sculpt program, which showed me I needed to trust the process and not be hard on myself.

It’s So Important to Love Yourself and do This for Yourself.

I look back at 2014 (185 lbs), a year after I had my second baby boy and I didn’t feel like myself. So I started a weight loss competition at work and ended up winning it! During that time I counted every calorie that went into my body. I continued to do so afterward and dropped some more.

I didn’t find this super enjoyable though, so I joined the 15-Day Fit Body Challenge and lost 5.4 pounds. Then with the 6-week I really felt like I had it down (141 lbs)! This is fun to me!

Before my IdealFit journey, all I kept saying to myself and others was, “I just want someone to teach me how to eat to maximize my workout!”

Who knew, a year ago when I found IdealFit, that it would bring me here! I have learned so much. I get excited thinking that I get to do this forever and I can only get stronger!
