On our periods we crave it, and pretty much every other day also. While a lot of chocolate treats are filled with sugar and other ingredients that won’t help you reach your fitness goals any faster, you still can enjoy some of your favorite chocolatey treats without any regrets, with some minor modifications. #noregrets

Our favorite protein to use in these recipes is IdealLean Protein because it doesn’t have any sugar, fat, or carbs so is the perfect macro friendly powder to add in to these. Plus with 20g of protein per serving you are one step closer to getting your recommended daily value in of protein in to help you sculpt a lean and toned body.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Oatmeal Cups

2 c old fashioned oats
1 scoop Chocolate Brownie IdealLean Protein
1/4 c mini chocolate chips
3 tbsp. coconut sugar
1 tbsp. dark chocolate cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c unsweetened almond milk
1 c fresh strawberries, sliced

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix oats, protein, coconut sugar, and baking powder. Add almond milk and mix until combined.
2. Fold in strawberries and chocolate chips and pour into 8 muffin tins. Bake for 20 minutes.

Makes 12 oatmeal cups. Serving size: 2 oatmeal cups.

Chocolate Butterscotch Puppy Chow

1 tbsp. coconut oil
2 tbsp. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butterscotch chips
1/4 c peanut butter
2 scoops Chocolate Brownie IdealLean Protein
4 c rice chex cereal

1. Melt coconut oil, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl (about 30- 60 seconds). Add 1 scoop protein and mix until smooth.
2. Add cereal and chocolate mixture to airtight container and cover. Shake until cereal is coated.
3. Add second scoop of protein powder, cover, and shake. Enjoy!

Makes 8 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.

No Bake Cookie Bars

1 c old fashioned oats
1 scoop Chocolate Brownie IdealLean Protein
1 tsp. dark chocolate cocoa powder
1 tsp. coconut oil, melted
1 tbsp. unsweetened coconut milk
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. natural peanut butter
1 tbsp. dark chocolate chips

1. Mix together all ingredients except dark chocolate chips. Press down evenly into the bottom of a loaf pan.
2. Melt dark chocolate chips and drizzle on top.
3. Freeze for at least a couple of hours or until bars are solid. Cut into 8 bars and enjoy!

Makes 8 bars.

Chocolate Covered Protein Pretzels

1/2 c dark chocolate chips
1 scoop Chocolate Brownie IdealLean Protein
8 pretzel rods

1. Melt dark chocolate chips and immediately add Chocolate Brownie IdealLean Protein powder and stir until incorporated. Spread chocolate mixture onto wax paper and roll the top half of the pretzel rods in the chocolate mixture until coated.
2. Freeze until chocolate has hardened. Enjoy!

Makes 8 chocolate covered pretzels.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Dip

1 tbsp. PB2 powder
1 tbsp. dark chocolate chips, melted
1 tsp. almond milk
2 tbsp. greek yogurt
1 tsp. honey

1. Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
2. Dip desired fruit (we really loved apple slices) into mixture and enjoy!

Serves 1.

Chocolate Coconut Protein Donuts

2 scoops Chocolate Brownie IdealLean Protein
1/4 c agave nectar
1/4 c unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

Coconut Caramel Topping:
6 tbsp. sugar free caramel syrup
1/2 c unsweetened shredded coconut
2 tsp. unsweetened coconut milk

1. Preheat oven to 320 Degrees F.
2. Mix together all ingredients until combined, and pour batter into donut pan. Be careful to not fill too full. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
3. Mix all topping ingredients until combined and spread on top of donuts & enjoy!

Makes 8 donuts.

S’mores Protein Pudding

1 c plain greek yogurt

1 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 full graham cracker, ground
1 tbsp. mini marshmallows

1. Mix greek yogurt, Chocolate Brownie IdealLean Protein, and cocoa powder.
2. Sprinkle graham cracker and mini marshmallows on top and enjoy!

1. Add ice and blend. If desired top with fat free whip cream and enjoy!

1 large egg
1 tsp. coconut oil, melted

Cream Cheese Icing:
1/2 scoop French Vanilla IdealLean Protein
1 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp. greek yogurt cream cheese

1. In a high powered blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. Pour batter into heated waffle iron and remove when finished.
2. If desired, top with cream cheese icing and enjoy!

Serves 1. Serving size: 1 waffle with icing.
