Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes

Happy National Pancake Day! What better way to celebrate than with a delicious stack of fresh pancakes. We wanted to make some that were delicious and healthy. That’s why we decided to mix the taste of cinnamon rolls with your favorite buttermilk stack.

You won’t be disappointed with the results! Seriously these cinnamon swirl pancakes hit the spot. Get this recipe below, and don’t forget to grab a tub of our Vanilla protein to get started.


1/4 c white whole wheat flour
1/4 c oats, ground
1 scoop IdealLean Vanilla Protein
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c unsweetened almond milk
1/4 c unsweetened applesauce
1 egg

Cinnamon Swirl Sauce:
1/4 c scoop IdealLean Vanilla Protein
2 tbsp. coconut sugar
1 tbsp. coconut oil, melted
2 tsp. almond milk
1/8 tsp. cinnamon


  1. Mix flour, ground oats, protein, baking powder, and salt. Add almond milk, applesauce, and egg until combined.
  2. Mix all cinnamon sauce ingredients together until smooth. Add to a plastic baggy and snip end off.
  3. Heat skillet and spray with nonstick spray. Using a ¼ cup, pour batter onto skillet. Swirl cinnamon sauce onto the pancake, then flip when pancake begins to bubble.
  4. Repeat until pancake batter is gone. Enjoy!

Makes 6 pancakes. Serving size: 3 pancakes. Calories per serving: 300 / Protein 19g / Carbs 34 g / Fat 11g
