10 Cherry Limeade Pre-Workout Recipes

You guys, working out is great. Breaking a sweat, releasing endorphins, pushing our bodies and minds and improving appearance are just a few of the reasons exercise is so beneficial. But if you are anything like me, motivating yourself to go into the gym day-in and day-out can be hard.

After a full day of work, a long commute, studying, watching kids, and everything else on our plates it is easy to become exhausted, and put exercise on the backburner. So motivating ourselves to get into gym clothes and get over to the gym? Uh no. Probably not going to happen.

But maybe we just need a little pick-me-up. A little something-something to give us more energy and give us that extra push to get us up and going. Hello IdealLean Pre-Workout!

1/4 c frozen, pitted cherries
1 c lite canned coconut milk
1/2 banana, frozen
1 scoop Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout

Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Enjoy!

Mint Cherry Refresher or cooler

4-5 Mint leaves
10 oz. Water
1 scoop Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout
Ice

Mix together water and pre-workout until it is dissolved. Add ice, and stir in your mint leaves. Let it sit for a few minutes for the mint to add flavor to your drink. Enjoy!

Berry Cherry Limeade

Ingredients
1/2 c frozen Berry Cherry blend fruit
1 scoop Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout (or less if you prefer)
1 c unsweetened almond milk
1/4 c water
Ice

Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Enjoy!

Total prep/cook time= 2 minutes

Fruit Water w/ Cherry Limeade Ice Cubes

Ingredients
1 c water
1 scoop Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout
Optional: Fruit of choice

Mix together water and pre-workout. Pour into ice cube molds and freeze for 2 hours or until frozen. Add ice cubes to a glass of water, and add whatever fruit you like!

Prep time= 1 minute for ice cubes and 3-5 minutes to cut fruit if you use it.
Freeze time= 2 hours to freeze ice cubes

Frozen Cherry Limeade

Ingredients
1 1/2 c water
1 scoop Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout
2-3 c crushed ice

Blend ingredients together using a high-powered blender. Add more ice or water depending on how thick or smooth you like it.

Cherry Limeade Spritzer

Ingredients
1 c crushed ice
8 oz. water
1 scoop Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout
1/2 c lime zero calorie carbonated water (more if you like)

Optional: Top with a maraschino cherry!

Mix together water and pre-workout until blended well. Add ice, and top with desired amount of lime carbonated water. Enjoy!

Cherry Limeade Snow Cup

1/2 c water
1 scoop Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout
2 c pellet or crushed ice (blend ice in blender if you want finer pieces)

Fill a two glasses with desired amount of ice! Mix together water and pre-workout until blended well. Top ice with cherry limeade mix. Enjoy!

Cherry Limeade Yogurt

1 c nonfat greek yogurt
1 scoop Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout
1/4 c granola (we like Cascade Farms)

Mix together yogurt and pre-workout until dissolved and smooth. Top with granola and enjoy!

Cherry Limeade Sorbet

Ingredients
2 bananas, frozen
1 scoop Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout
2 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk

Directions:
1. Put all the ingredients in the blender/food processor and blend until thick and smooth, consistency of ice cream. Cover and freeze for 2 hours or until firm enough to scoop and hold it’s shape.
2. Note: If your food processor is not very strong, you may need to add a bit more milk to make it easier to blend.

Serves 2

Prep time= 3 minutes
Freeze time= 2 hours

Pre-Workout Jell-O Cups

Ingredients
1 envelope (1 tbsp.) unflavored gelatin
1 c boiling water
1 c cold water
3 tsp. granulated stevia (or your choice of zero calorie sweetener)
2 scoops Cherry Limeade IdealLean Pre-Workout

Directions
1. Bring 1 cup water to a boil.
2. In a large bowl, stir Stevia and IdealLean Cherry Limeade pre-workout powder in 1 cup of COLD water. Take a small sip to taste the flavoring, then you’ll know if you’ll need to add more powder or sweetener. Make sure it’s all dissolved.
3. Sprinkle gelatin into the cold water mixture and whisk until it’s thoroughly dissolved.
4. Add boiling water to the cold mixture and stir.
5. Pour evenly among two glasses or dishes.
6. Chill until firm.

Serves 2

Prep time= 5 minutes
Chill time= 4 hours
