Cake batter is probably one of the best treats in the world! Who hasn’t begged mom to lick the bowl after she’s done baking a cake? And I’m pretty sure the most popular ice cream flavor ever, is cake batter. Even though we all love cake batter, cake batter doesn’t always love us back.

If you’re trying to burn fat so that you can get toned and fit, cake batter probably isn’t going to help you get there. What you need is protein. Protein is a great way to support your goal of burning fat and building lean muscle without bulking you up.

Well, guess what? You can have your cake batter and eat it too! These protein-packed cake batter treats give you the best of both worlds. And mom said you couldn’t have cake batter for breakfast, HA!

Cake Batter Crispy Treats

Ingredients
2 c crisp rice cereal
1 scoop Cake Batter IdealLean Protein
1/4 c natural almond butter
1/4 c honey
2 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk

Directions
1. Line baking dish with wax or parchment paper and set aside.
2. Mix honey and almond butter and heat in the microwave (10 or so seconds) until drippy.
3. Combine honey and almond butter mixture with the remaining ingredients in a large bowl and mix until the cereal is no longer powdery.
4. Spread the mixture in a 9×9 pan, evenly packing down until firm. Set aside until firm and cut into 9 bars. Enjoy!

Cake Batter Froyo Pops

Cake Batter Froyo PopsIngredients
1 c plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
1 scoop Cake Batter IdealLean Protein
1 tbsp. honey

Directions
Mix all ingredients together and pour into ice pop mold. If desired, add sprinkles to the top or bottom of popsicles. Freeze until solid & enjoy! With the ice pop mold we used, we got 4 pops.

Cake Batter Overnight OatsIngredients
1 c old fashioned oats
1 scoop Cake Batter IdealLean Protein
2 tsp. baking stevia
1/2 c plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
3/4 c unsweetened almond milk
1/8 tsp. salt

Directions
Mix all ingredients together. Divide between 2 mugs, mason jars, or bowls. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour, or overnight. Enjoy!

3 bananas, frozen
3 tbsp. unsweetened coconut milk

Blend all ingredients until smooth and pour into loaf pan. Freeze until solid and enjoy!

Directions
Add ice and blend until smooth. Top with Cool Whip and 1 tsp. sprinkles. Enjoy!

3 scoops Cake Batter IdealLean Protein
1/4 c coconut flour
1/2 c baking stevia
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c almond butter
1/2 c plain, non-fat Greek Yogurt
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. sprinkles

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix together dry ingredients. Add all wet ingredients and mix until combined.
3. Fold in sprinkles and scoop onto cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Enjoy! Makes 20 cookies.

1 tbsp. coconut oil
1/4 c almond butter
4 c rice square cereal
2 scoops Cake Batter IdealLean Protein

Directions
1. Melt coconut oil and almond butter until drippy and stir into rice square cereal.
2. Add protein powder and shake in plastic container or zip-top bag until completely coated. Makes about 8 servings.

1 scoop Cake Batter IdealLean Protein
2 tbsp. Coconut Flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/2 c unsweetened almond milk

Directions
1. Mix protein, coconut flour, and baking powder until combined.
2. Add the egg and almond milk and stir until incorporated. Pour batter into mug or small microwavable bowl.
3. Microwave for 60-90 seconds. Top with sugar-free frosting or sugar-free whipped cream if desired. Enjoy!

3/4 c oat flour

3/4 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp. agave nectar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. coconut oil, melted

Frosting:
1 scoop Cake Batter IdealLean Protein
2 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk

Directions
1. Mix all ingredients together until combined. Using a 1/4 cup, pour batter on a hot griddle. Once top of pancake is bubbly and bottom is golden brown, flip and cook until both sides are done.
2. Top with cake batter frosting or sugar-free syrup. Enjoy! Makes 6 pancakes.

1/2 c oat flour

1/4 c agave nectar
1/4 c unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Frosting:

2 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
sprinkles (optional)

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 320 Degrees.
2. Mix together all ingredients until combined, and pour batter into donut pan. Be careful not to overfill.
3. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Top with frosting and add sprinkles if desired. Enjoy! Makes 8 donuts.
