Banana Almond Breakfast Bars
- 1 - medium ripe banana, mashed
- 2tbsp - almond butter
- 1tbsp - pure maple syrup
- 1tbsp - melted coconut oil
- 1 - egg
- tsp - cinnamon
- 1cup - rolled oats
- 1 - scoop French Vanilla IdealLean Protein
- 0.5tsp - baking powder
- 0.25tsp - baking soda
- 0.25cup - sliced almonds
- 0.25cup - dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8-inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add the mashed banana, almond butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, and egg. Whisk until well incorporated.
Add in the oats, protein powder, baking powder and baking soda. Stir until well incorporated. Fold in the almonds and chocolate chips.
Pour this mixture into the prepared pan. Using the rubber spatula, smooth into an even layer.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until just lightly golden around the edges. Cool and slice into 12 bars. Enjoy!
