Q: When did your journey start?
January 2017 is when I decided to get my eating habits under control. I am already pretty active and I’d get on the healthy eating wagon, but fall off, so I wasn’t truly seeing the results I really wanted. I buckled down and found IdealFit.
Q: What made you want to make a change?
I wanted my outside to actually show all my hard work, and my twin brother and I have high cholesterol. I’ve lowered my numbers considerably with just diet and exercise.
Q: What tips do you have for others starting out?
Keep pushing through, trust the process, lil progress is still progress. Take pictures and measurements! As hard as it is, do not compare yourself or your journey to others… everyone responds differently.
Q: What have been some of the biggest obstacles you’ve had to overcome?
Depending on what’s happening in my life…if kids are very stressful, or it’s nearing an unhappy anniversary, sometimes I use that as an excuse to indulge… I’m getting better at saying no-this will not give me my results. We’re all human, just get back up and on track asap.
Q: What are some of your go-to, favorite meals?
Buffalo chicken nachos or on-top sweet potatoes… monkey wrap… flatbread pizza with green bell pepper…and egg white oats omelette topped with peanut butter.
Q: What are some go-to supplements that have helped?
I love the IdealFit Protein especially chocolate, vanilla, Carmel mocha…
BCAAs are important I enjoy grape, blueberry pomegranate, raspberry lemonade…
I’ve taken the Nighttime Probiotic and I feel it helped with bloating.
