CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE MUG CAKE
It’s the ultimate hybrid. A mix between a chocolate chip cookie and rich, velvety cake. You can’t go wrong with this sweet little treat, especially when it boasts 14 grams of protein!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
- 3 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp. organic coconut sugar
- 1/2 scoop IdealLean French Vanilla Protein
- 3 tbsp. white whole wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tbsp. semisweet chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix oil, almond milk, and vanilla extract in mug. Add coconut sugar, protein, flour, and baking powder and chocolate chips. Mix well.
- Microwave for 1 minutes (will vary depending on how well done you want it or if you like it more gooey).
CAKE BATTER MUG CAKE
Bring on the sprinkles! Everyone loves a good confetti cake, but if you’re like us, you’ll eat the whole thing. So this single-serving option is probably best. You know, for health’s sake. If you get the protein powder used in this recipe, you’ll have sprinkles built in! Yeah, there’s a protein powder out there that has SPRINKLES. You’re welcome.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 scoop Cake Batter IdealLean Protein
- 2 tbsp. Coconut Flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c unsweetened almond milk
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix protein, coconut flour, and baking powder until combined.
- Add the egg and almond milk and stir until incorporated. Pour batter into mug or small microwavable bowl.
- Microwave for 60-90 seconds. Top with sugar-free frosting or sugar-free whipped cream if desired. Enjoy!
PUMPKIN SPICE MUG CAKE
Unleash your #basic side without anyone even knowing. You can make this dainty little pumpkin spice cake just for yourself, but the Ugg boots and Starbucks are optional.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp. blanched almond flour
- 2 tbsp. French Vanilla IdealLean Protein (12 grams)
- dash salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. pumpkin spice
- 2 tbsp. pumpkin puree
- 1 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp. agave
- 1 tsp. coconut oil, melted
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a small bowl, mix the almond flour, protein, salt, baking powder, and pumpkin spice. Stir until combined.
- Add the pumpkin, almond milk, agave, and coconut oil. Mix until it is a smooth batter.
- Microwave for 1 minute. If it needs longer, microwave in 10-15 seconds more.
- Top with sugar-free Cool Whip if you would like!
CINNAMON ROLL MUG CAKE
Do your grandma’s cinnamon rolls pack in 35 grams of protein each? Yeah…we didn’t think so! We know it’s like comparing apples to oranges, but we’re pretty positive you’ll like this mug cake ALMOST as much!
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE CAKE
- 1 scoop French Vanilla IdealLean Protein
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 3 tbsp. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 egg white
- 2 tbsp. unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
CINNAMON GLAZE
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. melted coconut butter, melted
- 2 -3 drops liquid stevia
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 2 tbsp. Fat-free cream cheese (slightly warmed in microwave)
- 1 tbsp. French Vanilla IdealLean Protein
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place all cake ingredients in a small bowl and mix until smooth.
- Transfer to a large, greased (coconut oil) coffee mug and microwave for 1-2 minutes. (mine took 1:45).
- Meanwhile, mix together glaze ingredients in a small bowl. Mix frosting ingredients in another small bowl.
- Tip the cake out onto a plate. Pour glaze over the top, and top with frosting. Enjoy!
TRES LECHES MUG CAKE
By very definition, tres leches cake is something we’re ALL over. Three kinds of milk? Sign us up!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp. almond flour
- 1 scoop IdealLean French Vanilla Protein
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. fat-free sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 c unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tbsp. low-fat whip cream
- 1 fresh strawberry, sliced
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a microwave-safe mug or dish, mix almond flour, IdealLean French Vanilla Protein, baking powder, and cinnamon. Add egg, condensed milk, coconut oil, and almond milk and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Microwave for 60-90 seconds and top with low-fat whipped cream and sliced strawberries and enjoy!
STRAWBERRY ANGEL FOOD CAKE MIX
Not going to lie, this is the easiest recipe on this list. All you need is some angel food cake, protein and whipped cream. Seriously. That’s it.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 c angel food cake mix, dry
- 1 tbsp. Strawberries ‘N Cream IdealLean Protein
- Optional: 1 drop of red food coloring if you want it pink!
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix the two together in an airtight container and seal it.
- When you want a treat, mix 3 tablespoons of the cake mix and 2 tablespoons of water.
- Spray a microwavable coffee mug with nonstick spray.
- Pour in your batter and microwave for 1 minute.
- Top with sugar-free Cool Whip and strawberries if you wish and enjoy!
