5 Healthy Pie Recipes

Pies are my weakness! Pies could win an award for homiest dessert, or at least they would in my book!

Just thinking about biting into a delicious pie makes my mouth start to water! Plus there are so many options! Apple, chocolate, strawberry…you get the idea!🤤

The only problem is that pies can be super high in calories, fat, and sugar. 

In order to get that delicious taste without the added calories and other junk, we came up with five healthy pie recipes! Let’s get to it! 

PROTEIN PUMPKIN PIE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c pumpkin puree
  • 2 tbsp. nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 scoop IdealLean French Vanilla Protein
  • 1/4 c organic coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 9 inch graham cracker crust

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all ingredients until combined and pour into 9 inch prepared graham cracker crust. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and cut into 8 slices. Enjoy!

APPLE PIE PARFAIT

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 c nonfat, plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 scoop Apple Pie IdealLean Protein
  • 1/4 c sugar-free apple pie filling
  • 2 tbsp. granola

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Stir together the yogurt and protein powder until combined. Layer the yogurt mixture, apple pie filling, and granola into a glass. Enjoy!!

NO BAKE MINI APPLE PIE CHEESECAKES

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 mini graham cracker crusts
  • 1 scoop IdealLean Apple Pie Protein
  • 2 tbsp. Greek yogurt cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp. nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup sugar-free Cool Whip

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Whisk cream cheese, Greek yogurt, IdealLean Apple Pie Protein until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip.
  2. Pour into crusts and refrigerate for an hour. Enjoy! 

MINI GRASSHOPPER PIES

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 c fat-free cool whip
  • 1 scoop Mint Chocolate IdealLean Protein
  • 1 Mint Chocolate IdealLean Protein Bar

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cut protein bar into 4 equal pieces, and press each piece down into 4 mini mason jars to create crust.
  2. Whisk together fat free cool whip and Mint Chocolate IdealLean Protein. Scoop on top of crusts. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Enjoy!

CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY CREAM PIE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 c plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop Strawberries ‘N Cream IdealLean Protein
  • 2 c frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1/4 c honey
  • 8 full sheets of chocolate graham crackers
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil

CHOCOLATE CRUST

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare the crust by pulsing graham crackers in a food processor until crumbly. Add in coconut oil and pulse until crust forms. Press into an 8-inch pie dish. Put it in the fridge while you prepare the rest of the recipe.
  2. In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with Strawberry IdealLean Protein until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Blend strawberries and honey until smooth.
  4. Stir strawberry mixture into the yogurt mixture. Once it is all incorporated, pour into pie crust.
  5. Freeze for at least 2 hours. Slice into 8 slices when cold.
  6. Optional: Top with sugar-free Cool-Whip, strawberries, and sugar-free chocolate syrup if you want!

Okay, that’s all there is to it! You don’t have to throw off your macros to enjoy something delicious! These recipes are proof of that!
