Hi, I am starting my Ideal Lean Burner today. it says to take before breakfast and w/ water. So I took it at 7. How long do you wait to eat breakfast, does it matter? Also, I don’t work out till the afternoon, does this matter?

    1. Devin Olsen

Good question Tara! You can eat as you like after taking it, and that’s quite alright to wait until the afternoon to workout 🙂

Hi! I was wondering if it is okay to take the fat burner while breastfeeding? I have researched and most fat burners suggest to not take them while breastfeeding and haven’t found anything on these. I love my shake and want to start taking the fat burner but have been hesitant too. Thanks!

We always recommend talking to your doctor before taking any supplements while pregnant or breastfeeding.

I have had the fat burner for awhile, it was free with one of my protein purchases. I run first thing in the morning and typically only have 3 dates with peanut butter 10 minutes before I start my run. When should I take the fat burner?

    1. Alyson McDonald

Hey Elissa! As described on the label, the following is recommended:

To start, take one (1) capsule with 16 oz. of water in the morning before breakfast.
After one week, if desired, begin taking an additional one (1) capsule before lunch. Do not exceed more than two (2) capsules per day.

Hi I’m confused as when it says “take one capsule of the fat burner with water before breakfast” Does that mean you need to eat breakfast sooon after that? Or can you have the protein drink, take a fat burner capsule with water, and then workout and not eat breakfast for another couple hours? Thank you!

        1. Christine Sanelli

You don’t have to have breakfast right after, if you’re used to working out on an empty stomach then you should be okay!

I am using the 12 Week Challenge and Idealshakes to lose 25 pounds…ish. Is the IdealShape Burn or IdealLean Burner more beneficial for me? Or are they the same?

    1. Caitlin Peterson

Hi Katie. There is no need to cycle off of either of those. 🙂

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

Some people prefer to cycle the Fat Burner, so as to make the effects of the natural caffeine more effective in helping you feel alert, but cycling isn’t necessary for the overall effects of helping with supporting metabolism. Does that make sense?

      1. Katie

Yes it does, thank you. One more thing! I also take CLA, my last time taking it being after dinner. I’ve been reading about the nighttime probiotic product…first, do you recommend that product as well? I sometimes don’t finish dinner until 8 or 8:30 and then take my last CLA pill…I don’t go to bed much after I eat dinner, usually in bed by like 9:30 or 10. Is taking the CLA and the nighttime probiotic close together matter?

        1. McKenzie Pinckney

Great question. I personally love the Probiotic. I take it every single night, because I can tell a huge difference in how my tummy feels when I don’t. I think this Probiotic would help anyone, so if you’re interested, I say give it a try. I don’t think you’d be disappointed. You can take it with the CLA too. The Probiotic is most effective when you take it on an empty stomach, so try to give yourself 1-2 hours after dinner before you take it.

When do I start taking the cla and the fat burner? How long will I be on both of them? Do I take both together and how many times per day is required for a fat burner & cla?

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

Great questions, Gina! The Fat Burner and CLA can be taken together and when combined with healthy dietary habits and regular exercise, will help you meet your goals 🙂 You can take them as long as you’d like. Take 3 CLA capsules a day with meals and 2 of the Fat Burners each day. The Fat Burner’s do contain stimulants in the form of natural caffeine, like green tea extract and coffee beans, so make sure those are taken earlier in the day and not close to your bed time. CLA has no stimulants, so you’re fine to take your third capsule in the evening. Does this all make sense?

I have been using Ideal Shape and have lost 18 pounds, so now I am where I have 30 to loose. I had a couple questions for you if you have time to answer. I just ordered the Ideal Fit fat burner and CLA’s and can’t wait to try them! I really do like the Ideal Trim though and it helps keep my appetite in check through the day. Is it okay to use the Ideal Trim along with the Ideal Fit fat burner, CLA and nighttime Probiotic? Also I love the convenience of the Ideal Shape shakes, so could I still incorporate them in as meal replacements and use the Ideal Fit Protein for a pre and post workout meal? I usually workout at least 6 days a week in a HITT type workout for 30 minutes and I also walk 2.5 miles a day 5 days a week. Thank you so much for any help!

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

Alison! That’s so awesome!!! I’m glad you’re finding such amazing results with our products 🙂 Now, since Trim has no stimulants, you’ll be fine to take that with your Nighttime Probiotic. The Fat Burner and CLA are also fine to take together, because just like the Trim, CLA has no stimulants. You’re just fine to continue taking your Shake and now incorporating the Lean protein. What I’d have you do is make sure you’re also getting plenty of whole foods too, because it can be easy getting into a habit of drinking all your meals! Continue drinking your two Shakes a day, if that’s been your current routine, and have a scoop of protein before and after your workouts. I think you’re really going to enjoy the Fit products. With the amount of exercise you perform, I think you’ll start seeing awesome results in no time 🙂

      1. Alison

Thank you so much! I just want to be clear though is it okay to take the Trim, Ideal Fit Fat burner, CLA and the nighttime probiotic all in one day, but spaced out through the day? Or should I just use the Ideal Fit Fat burner, CLA and nighttime probiotic and not the Trim? I don’t want to take too much but want to get the best results possible at the same time. Thank you so much for all your help!

        1. McKenzie Pinckney

That should be fine! So long as they’re spread out, you shouldn’t have any problems. Of course, pay attention to your body and if you feel like your digestion changes, lets make some tweaks, but I really think you should be fine 🙂

I work graveyard shift. 12am-8am. When is the best time to start taking supplements? I sleep from 10am-5pm.

    1. Caitlin Peterson

Around your workouts and eating schedule. So if you work out at 7pm, you could take IdealLean Protein at 6:00pm, you could take Pre-Workout at 6:30pm, you could drink your BCAAs during your workout, and follow that by a post-workout meal. But don’t take pre-workout and Fat Burner together. Make sure that you spread those out three hours. You could take your Fat Burner first thing upon waking with a meal, but then don’t take a Pre-workout since those need to be spaced out three hours (or wait three hours until you workout, then you could take it). Then you could take your second fat burner capsule three hours after that. If you let me know what your eating/workout schedule looks like I could help you better.

    Hi
I’m looking for a Fat burner but everything has some form of caffeine, which I am allergic to. Is there anything that can help?

  9. Tanon Holcomb

I’ve tried a couple different kinds of fat burners and I really like yours the best. I don’t feel “weird” and it doesn’t cause and digestive upset. I wanted to thank for the tip about using the pre-workout instead of the fatburner in the am before I workout and it got me wondering … I just got your CLA’s , are there tips as far as timing when taking those? Can I use it with the fatburner? It says to take 3 a day I’ve been splitting it up, is that ok?

    1. Caitlin Peterson

I’m so glad you like the fat burner! And yes, you can take CLA and the Fat Burner together. There isn’t caffeine in CLA either so you could still take one capsule of that in the morning! Yes, it is great to split it up. 🙂 We recommend taking one with your breakfast, one with your lunch, and one with your dinner. 🙂
