If you use the Preworkout does it replace the Preworkout meal (meal 1) if you are using the workout programs.

    1. Devin Olsen

No, IdealLean pre-workout doesn’t have any calories so it isn’t meant as a replacement for the pre-workout meal 🙂

  2. Leann

I too would like to know about the Protein powder, BCAA’s and preworkout while nursing. I am at the end of nursing my last child he is not quite off nursing; only at night now so I don’t really want to make an appointment to just go in and ask if I can use them while nursing. Can anyone tell me? Maybe what your doctors recommended/ said about the products and nursing? Thanks.

  3. Brittney

BCAAs and nursing – how do these effect baby? Is there enough caffeine that it’s going to keep the baby awake?

  4. Usha

I have half marathon race coming up soon, is that a good idea taking pre-workout or BCAA during Race? if yes, what would you recommended more pre-workout drink or BCAA? Thanks

  5. Janie

I just tried my BCAA drink this morning for the first time…yum, and a great workout too.!!! Thank you IdealFit:)

  6. Stacy Tosti

I have both Pre-work out and BCAA’s. It looks like BCAA’s have more benefits. If this is the case, how should I divide these two drinks up to get the most of my products? I also take cla’s 3x a day and the fat burner 1x in the am and 1x at lunch. I am 1 lb from my lean weight goal of 110, so I truly believe these items and the Protein powder have helped me become successful on my journey. I started at 127 in January and have also dropped to 21% BMI. I want to continue with these products but I want to get the best results, so thank you for your help.
    Thank you

    1. Caitlin Peterson

Hi Stacy! Both are important just for different reasons! You should just be taking your pre-workout 20-30 min before your work out. But it’s also very important that you aren’t taking your Burner and the pre-workout at the same time, because that is too much caffeine. So if you work out in the morning take your pre-workout before, then wait at least three hours before taking a Burner pill. Does that make sense? Then you should be taking your BCAAs during your workout, and on an empty stomach on non-training days.

      1. Stacy Tosti

Thanks for clearing that up! I have been drinking pre-work out during my work out and BCAA’s after. I will switch that today. I take 2nd burner around 12 when I eat lunch so it is way before my work out. I appreciate your help.
        Have a great day!

        Stacy

Exercise combined with the amino acids in BCAAs help reduces serotonin of bein produced. Which in helps reducing cravings

  8. Rachel

I’m really interested in the BCAAs but I see they have sucralose. Isn’t this an artificial sweetener and not good for you?

  9. Bethany Angle

BCAAs are amino acids. The more lean muscle mass you have, the more calories you’ll burn, because muscle burns more calories than fat, which translates to trimming that stubborn belly fat. Excited to try your products!!!

  10. Melissa

    1. It manages sugar cravings, which results in eating less sugary foods that are bad for you, which in return reduces belly fat! (or the increase in belly fat)
    2. Bridge the gap between stess and recovery in your body, helps create new DNA which is important for the maintenance, growth, and change of your body
    3. Helps maintain muscle mass by replenishing the energy it burned during your workout. BCAAs act as fuel, especially if you are doing fasted cardio/training. Esentially, BCAAs prevent catabolism from happening.
    4. Prevents fatigue, helps your body get more our of your workout.

I just recently tried your BCAA and I did feel the difference with my workout. I have been trying to lose weight and get healthy for about a year now. Can’t wait for the benefits I will receive from taking them. Plus they are delicious. Thank you IdealFit. 👏🏻👍🏻😁

  11. Isha Patel

The BCAAs I have work godly. I am almost running out and this would be great! BCAAs definitely help with burning your fat because when you have lean muscle mass, the more you have the more you burn off the calories and since muscle burns more calories than fat it turns into burning and taking away that belly fat that you have always wanted to get rid of! I have been using idealshape/idealfit products for over a year and I am amazed by the results.

  12. Terri Warner

I like how it can help with cravings..i hope to win some.

  13. Michelle Miska

BCAAs help present fatigue durning phyiscal activity. Something I could use especially since I teach multiple group fitness classes a day!

  14. Kristine berlowitz

I love drinking after my workout. It helps me get my water intake in and makes me feel like I am helping my muscles recover faster. Love love

  15. Jennifer Garcia

BCAA’s are a wonderful way to help build lean muscle by repairing it during Ann’s after working out. It also helps with soreness and jeeps you properly hydrated. I use it highly diluted and drink it during workouts and throughout the day on rest days. And it tastes amazing! Dying to try all the flavors. I’d love to win some.

  16. Laura Schoolcraft

“The amino acids in BCAAs, combined with exercise may help with the production of serotonin, therefore keeping your cravings under control.” As someone who has been using idealfit BCAA’S for 6 months, this is spot on!

  17. Jo

I ❤️ my BCAAs! I never workout without it. Even on non training-yet-active-rest days I drink them. It’s been a slow process but I am seeing a difference in my belly fat – definitely shrinking albeit minimally each month so long as I eat clean.

    1. Caitlin Peterson

Yes, I see a big difference when I use them vs. when I don’t! They really do work. For all of our products we recommend being 18 and older.

  18. Kelly

I usually use BCAAs in the afternoon. Can I use the preworkout, BCAAs during the workout in the morning and BCAAs in the afternoon or is it too much?

    1. Caitlin Peterson

Hi Kelly! You can use them two times a day! Just make sure when you take them in the morning you are taking them on an empty stomach! And I would not exceed two servings a day.

  19. Staci g

I love the flavor of the bcaas they help me workout longer and build more lean muscles to burn the stubborn fat on my body

  20. Lynn

I love all the flavors, but I don’t understand. Why is sucrolose public enemy #1 in diet drinks, but in the ingredient list of BCAAs???

  21. cindy hernandez

There are many factor why BCAA’s can help reduce body fat.
Two reasons out of many is because it helps with muscle soreness so it will be easier to workout and train harder and it helps build muscle, and the more muscle we have the more fat we burn. ☺

  22. Shelby

I have bcaa’s but still have stubborn belly fat that won’t leave even though I’m working out multiple times a week and eating moderately healthy! I’m trying my best but it’s hard

  23. Debi Baldwin

I didn’t realize the BCAA’s help with junk food cravings which I need desperately. They help boost immunity and metabolism also

  24. Marisa

BCAA’s prevent fatigue and manage those sugar cravings so you can have the energy with no crash from one day to the next.

  25. Rebecca Crane

Bcaas help trim body fat because they help with creating serotonin. Serotonin is a chemical that improves overall happiness as well as helps curve cravings. Without cravings and caving into junk bcaas will help your body make healthier food choices.

  26. Angie

BCAAs help with the production of seratonin which helps regulate appetite and lower sugar cravings which help trim belly fat. Pick me for the giveaway.

  27. Belinda Chappell

I do want to try your BCAAS. I currently drink your ideallean for my recovery but would love to try this during workout

  28. Alex

I love my BCAAs! While they don’t completely eliminate my soreness, I do experience a noticeable difference in my recovery and my ability to push through my next work out.
It is interesting to see that BCAAs affect serotonin production and that that is what helps with cravings.

  29. Marie Weingard

BCAA’s help with food cravings by stabilizing serotonin levels. They also give a boost to give you a better workout as well as aiding in muscle recovery. Great product with many benefits! Would totally help me!!

  30. Rashelle Wilde

  38. Brittany Krejcar

I hope this is going in the right place! To answer the FB question: BCAAs are amino acids. What I don’t think I ever realized was that they were Leucine (which is best for muscle development), Isoleucine, and valine. They are essential to the body, especially while trying to workout and tone the body, though they cant be made within the body. They have to be supplemented through diet or supplements (best kind for women is Idealfit!). Very educational. I am currently trying the blueberry pomegranate and they are DELICIOUS!!

  39. Karen Power

I drink my BCAA’s every morning and sometimes again in the afternoon if I feel I had a really strong workout. Really helps with muscle repair and soreness. Makes a huge difference the next day.

  40. Nikkk

I find it hard to get everything i need in a day all in separate drinks. Like coffee, A gallon of water, greens, protein, bcaa, lemon water or tea. Its just too much to drink. If im using my protein and bcaa at the same time for instance in a smoothie together, is that ok?
And i go through spurts that i dont get my exercise in, should i still take my protien and bcaa? or am I wasting them if im not exercising at that time. I get taking it on rest days but im talking if i go weeks without a good workout are they still beneficial to use?

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

It’s a lot of liquid. What I would recommend is add your greens to your protein powder, but don’t stress about getting greens, lemon water and tea in everyday. I would keep the protein and BCAAs separate, because BCAAs work best during your workout and on your rest days on an empty stomach. Even when you’re not exercising, take your protein. BCAAs are always great to have, but protein is essential. I would definitely keep taking protein everyday no matter what. Does this all make sense?

  41. Karen

I’ve bought both the BCAA & the Pre-workout what’s the difference

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

Great question, Karen. The BCAAs are for drinking during your workout and on your rest days to help with muscle recovery. The aminos in the BCAAs help build up lean muscle mass and help you fight against sore muscles post-workout. The Pre-Workout is to help give you energy and focus during your workouts. Does this help clarify?

  42. Tracy Fraterelli

    So just to clarify…
I take a Tribe Fit class (HIIT) twice a week.
An hour before class I drink the protein.
During class I drink bcaa’s. After class I drink a protein.
    *Overkill?
*Should I drink protein daily on rest days or bcaa’s only on rest days?

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

That’s exactly right. It seems like a lot, because, well, it is. But in order to build lean muscle and burn fat, you need a lot of protein, even on your rest days. The best part is the Protein has 0g carbs/fats/sugars, so you won’t have to stress about it sabotaging your progress. The BCAAs are always good to drink, but they work best on an empty tummy.

  43. Megan

When you take the bcaas on your rest day? When should you take it and with a meal or as a snack?

    1. Caitlin Peterson

Hi Megan, you should take your BCAAs on rest days in between meals on an empty stomach for the best results. 🙂

  44. Julia

Hello! Nice post. You are right that BCAA are not magic powder making you loosing fat and gaining muscles but interesting Study from 2009 that group of people who took BCAA lost significantly more fat and gained more lean mass vs group who consumed whey protein instead of BCAA. That may be a marketing trick but personally I feel on myself that BCAA performing great.
    Thanks again for sharing!

    1. Caitlin Peterson

BCAAs really are one of the most beneficial supplements you can take! But making sure you are getting enough protein is also so important! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  45. Nanette Mathison

I’ve been trying to order 2 bcaa and two cla s but I don’t have a code . I’ve even tried calling it in no answer.

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

I’m so sorry, we don’t have a code for those particular items right now; however, we are always doing amazing sales, so keep your eyes peeled for our next big one!

  46. Sharon White

BCAAs or pre-workout? Which one is more effective for best results? There is pre-workout, BCAAs and then protein powder – Seems like an awful lot to have to take in everytime I work out. And the costs add up as well. What would you guys recommend?

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

If you had to choose, I strongly recommend Protein first, BCAAs second, and Pre-Workout third. The Protein will be essential, BCAAs are really really nice to have, and Pre-Workout is great when you need a boost, but it isn’t essential. Does that help?

  47. Jacqueline

I have the Raspberry Lemonade BCAAs and it’s so sickly sweet, I have to slam it just to get it down. I can tell that it helps with recovery, but I don’t use it as much as I should because it tastes so nasty. The same can be said for the blue raspberry pre-workout.

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

The sucralose can be too sweet for some people. I like to add lemon juice to my BCAAs. I think it tones down the sweetness. Try that and delude it with more water.

    2. Bethany

I find them to be very sweet too. I have the same problem with some of the other products too. I just add more water. I have a larger 25oz shaker that I use. It helps a lot with the sweetness and helps me get more water in (I struggle with staying hydrated).

  48. Anita Lewicki

    Hi
    Couple of questions ?
Will this make my heart race ?
Ana when so I take it ? Before or after work out ?
I don’t do a hard super intense jumping around my work out for cardio is elliptical And spinning and I will do a session of spinning for 45 mins or and too I ride my road bike anywhere from 20 to 40 miles at a high speed I also do kickboxing and my most favorite is weight lifting … so should I take this after all that ?

    Thanks

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

Hi Anita! The BCAAs have trace amounts of green tea extract, but because the dose is so low you won’t feel any side effects associated with caffeine. Drink BCAAs during your workout and even on your rest on an empty stomach. BCAAs work best when you drink them during your sessions, so you would be fine taking them during your spin classes, weightlifting, kickboxing, etc. 🙂

        1. Caitlin Peterson

No, they serve different purposes! So both are important, just for different reasons. You take Pre-Workout before exercising, and they are designed to help you get the energy to work out, and to help improve blood flow during your workout. Then you take BCAAs during your workout to help promote better recovery, and help you hold on to lean muscle.

  49. Melanoe rosenbeeg

So I drank mine for the first time today and drank through out my crossfit class and loved it what a difference I felt I’m sure ot wasnt all in my head too.. I’ve already ordered more sense the packets and combined with cla’s witch I need to learn more about I’m glad I decided to try this product!!

    1. McKenzie Pinckney

That’s wonderful! BCAAs are a necessity for me now, I can tell a huge difference if I don’t drink them when I train. The CLA is also a great product I think you’ll enjoy! It’s really underrated.

        1. McKenzie Pinckney

The CLA is a great supplement to add into your routine if you’re pairing it with regular strength training. Over time, it helps with the fat loss process.
