9 Recipes For the new Trainer Flavors

If we’re being honest here, I could probably eat dessert for every meal. Is that so wrong? Can’t I just live my life? Well, the answer is yes and no. If we’re talking your typical desserts then the answer is no. But I if we’re talking about desserts packed with protein and other good ingredients then the answer is hell yes. Go ahead and get that victory dance going.

Right now with all the holiday extravaganzas, there is a constant flow of tasty treats being thrown at our faces left and right. Literally. Okay maybe just figuratively, but still! It is sooo sucky to be the Debbie Downer (remember that SNL character?) that says no to every treat and then has to pout in the corner while everyone else is chowing down. Believe me, I’ve been there and it’s really not fun.

You don’t have to be that person this year! We have some delicious flavors coming out right now and they are going to blow your mind. I promise!

For a limited time and in honor of Black Friday, IdealFit recently launched some special IdealLean Protein Trainer flavors! That’s right. Not only are these flavors d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s on their own, they can be added into some mouth-watering recipes! Trust me when I say these flavors can bring your recipe game up ten notches. No joke.

These recipes are not only perfect for bringing to all those get-togethers but they are also great for everyday cravings.

So whether you’re wanting fudge, a creamy latte, or some chocolate mousse, these recipes are sure to get those cravings in check without ruining your calorie intake for the day.

Butterscotch Protein Fudge

Ingredients:

1/4 c coconut oil
1/4 c peanut butter
2 scoops IdealLean Butterscotch Protein

Instructions:

Line a small pan or Tupperware dish with parchment paper and set aside. Over stovetop or in microwave, melt coconut oil and peanut butter. Let cool for about a minute and stir in protein powder until combined.
Pour mixture into prepared dish and refrigerate for an hour, until set. Cut into 15 pieces and enjoy!

Makes 15 pieces. Serving size: 2 pieces.
Calories per serving: 140 / Protein 7g / Carbs 2g / Fat 12g

Butterscotch Rice Treats

INGREDIENTS:

4 c Rice Krispy Cereal
1 scoop IdealLean Butterscotch Protein
1/2 c peanut butter
1/3 c honey
1/2 c chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

Line a square baking pan with parchment paper and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, heat peanut butter and honey about 30 seconds, or until drippy. Let cool for about a minute and add protein powder and mix until smooth.
Pour over rice krispy cereal and mix until cereal is fully coated. Press down into the pan evenly. Melt chocolate chips and spread on top of bars. Freeze for at least 20 minutes or until chocolate hardens. Enjoy!

Serves 16. Serving size: 1 bar.

Butterscotch Ice Cream Topping

INGREDIENTS:

2 tsp. coconut oil
2 tbsp. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 scoop IdealLean Butterscotch Protein

INSTRUCTIONS:

Melt coconut oil, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract over stovetop on low heat until smooth and drippy. Whisk as it melts to combine. Remove from heat and let cool for about a minute. Add IdealLean Butterscotch Protein and mix until combined. Pour over your choice of ice cream and enjoy!

Serves 4. Serving size: 1 tbsp.

Pumpkin Chai Tea Latte

INGREDIENTS:

1 c unsweetened almond milk
1/2 c water
2 tbsp. pumpkin puree
1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 scoop IdealLean Chai Tea Latte Protein

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a saucepan over medium heat whisk almond milk, water, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla until hot, but not boiling. Let cool for 1-2 minutes, and whisk in protein until smooth. Enjoy!

Serves 1.
Calories per serving: 125 / Protein 21g / Carbs 4g / Fat 3g

Chewy Chai Bars

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 c raw almonds
3/4 c raw cashews
1 1/4 c dates
1 scoop IdealLean Chai Tea Latte Protein

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a high powered blender or food processor, blend nuts until ground. Add dates and protein and blend until mixture combines and becomes sticky. Press down into a parchment lined loaf pan and refrigerate 1-2 hours. Cut into 10 bars and enjoy!

Serves 10. Serving size: 1 bar.

Banana Chai Pancakes

INGREDIENTS:

1/4 c white whole wheat flour
1/4 c old fashioned oats, ground
1 scoop IdealLean Chai Tea Latte Protein
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c unsweetened almond milk
1/2 medium banana, mashed
1 egg

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, ground oats, IdealLean Chai Tea Latte Protein, baking powder, and salt. Add almond milk, mashed banana, and egg and whisk until smooth.
Spray an electric skillet or frying pan over medium heat and using a ¼ cup, spoon batter into the pan until the pancakes barely bubble. Flip pancakes and continue to cook until done. Enjoy!

Makes 5 pancakes. Serving size: 2 pancakes.

Raspberry Hot Chocolate

INGREDIENTS:

1 c unsweetened almond milk
1/2 c water
1/2 envelope no sugar added hot cocoa packet
1 scoop IdealLean Dark Chocolate Raspberry Protein

INSTRUCTIONS:

Heat almond milk and water until hot. Let cool for a minute or two and add hot chocolate powder and IdealLean Dark Chocolate Raspberry Protein powder and mix until smooth. Enjoy!

Serves 1. Calories per serving: 150 / Protein 22g / Carbs 9g / Fat 3g

Chocolate Coconut Raspberry Mousse

INGREDIENTS:

1 (5.3 oz) container toasted Greek yogurt
1 scoop IdealLean Dark Chocolate Raspberry Protein
1 tbsp. unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tsp. mini chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix greek yogurt and protein powder until smooth. Top with unsweetened coconut flakes and mini chocolate chips and enjoy!

Serves 1. Calories per serving: 220 / Protein 26g / Carbs 20g / Fat 4g

Dark Chocolate Raspberry Almond Muffins

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 c white whole wheat flour
1 scoop IdealLean Dark Chocolate Raspberry Protein
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c coconut sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1/2 c unsweetened almond milk
1 large egg
1/2 c almond butter
2 tbsp. coconut oil, melted
1/4 c mini chocolate chips
1/2 c fresh raspberries, crushed

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray mini muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
Mix flour, IdealLean Dark Chocolate Raspberry Protein powder, salt, and baking powder until combined. In a separate bowl, mix almond milk, egg, coconut sugar, almond butter, and coconut oil. Combine with flour mixture until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips and crushed raspberries. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!

Makes 28 mini muffins. Serving size: 2 mini muffins.
